Can you relate?

Are you sick of yo-yo dieting, constantly struggling to lose weight no matter what you try, only to be left disappointed or even heavier than when you started?

Is your life so chaotic that you: live off of fast food, rarely exercise, are constantly stressed, and get poor sleep, leaving you hopeless in achieving your physique, health & fitness goals?

Are you a woman whose menstrual cycles are erratic, painful, or full of frustrating symptoms (feeling off, bloated, heavy, fatigued, mood swings, or brain fog), and you haven't been able to get the right help or advice you need from your doctor? Or, are you a woman over 40 who just can't seem to lose weight doing the things that used to work for you in the past?

Are you a man who has always been athletic (or wants to be athletic), but you're finding yourself more and more sluggish, you're stuck behind a desk most of the day, and even though your waistline keeps growing you can't stop drinking sugary coffees and snacks to make it through your day?

Are you interested in competing in a physique competition or have a very special event coming up where you want to look your absolute best, but have no idea how to get started or create a plan that will help you reach your goals?
About Me:
Hi, my name is Nikki. I have a B.Sc. & M.Sc. in Exercise Physiology. I’m also a registered nurse, a certified personal trainer since 2002, and a former collegiate athlete who loves to work out, obsesses over her next cappuccino and travels all over the world. I’d like to share my story with you… Five years ago I was a very unhappy woman. Not only was I turning 40, moving to a new state, and in the midst of a divorce, perimenopause hit me like a Mack truck. Being a bodybuilder for the preceding 8 years, I was accustomed to the crazy weight and hormonal fluctuations, undulating over 60 pounds between my off-season weight and competition weight. But THIS was different, REALLY different! Now that I was done bodybuilding, my priorities had changed. My world was turning upside down right before my eyes. I was trying to be the best mom I could be to my teenaged daughter, while constantly being pulled away at the beck and call of an abusive husband. This left my health, goals and dreams by the wayside. What remained of me was severe fatigue, a battered mind and soul, ADD, erratic menstrual cycles, heavy bleeding, painful periods, depression, 30 extra pounds and the single mom of a beautiful but damaged daughter. How was I supposed to care for my little girl when I, myself was such a mess? While she desperately needed me, I needed myself more. I knew that if I didn’t change my priorities and my parenting style, I’d be left dying on the sword, unable to support either of us. I had to put my physical and mental health first in order to become the woman and mother I needed and wanted to be. I went into action mode, drawing off my amazing support system for love and guidance. My first action step was to address my ADD. I had to go on meds so that I could function, tackle normal daily activities, work effectively and efficiently, and most importantly spend quality time with my daughter. Once acclimated to the meds, I put myself on a diet and exercise regimen that capitalized on the days I felt my best during my cycle, and gave myself grace on the days I was extra hormonal and tired. I started making new friends and even started playing volleyball again, my true love in fitness. In just 4 months I dropped 35 pounds, had already started weaning off of my ADD medication, got my menstrual cycles regulated (with minimal PMS symptoms), started my own business, and my daughter and I were on the road to healing. Now I’m thriving, and better than ever. I’m leaner, healthier, more fit than I’ve ever been, and my body feels great. I’ve kept off the weight and no longer need medication. I fully understand the hormonal changes I was dealing with and how to successfully navigate through them. My body continues to change as I get deeper into perimenopause and it’s been an amazing and awesome journey. Right now, I am on a mission. While I’ve always focused on helping individuals with general fitness, weight loss, bodybuilders wanting to get on stage, and special engagement prep (anything from dropping a few pounds before a wedding to getting in shape for military physicals), my mission has grown to help individuals wean off medication (diabetes, cholesterol, high blood pressure, and other metabolic diseases), and also to help women over 40 navigate through the hardships that come with the circle of life. Whether you need a life coach, a fitness coach, a competition bodybuilding coach, a nutrition coach, a weight loss plan, and/or help transitioning into and through perimenopause and menopause, whatever it is you need, I am here to provide you the love, support and guidance you need to get out of this rut and become the person you desire to be, inside and out. With my guidance and online fitness and nutrition coaching, you will become the person you were meant to be and you will live with a higher purpose and calmness that will allow you to take care of your family and loved ones, and tackle anything that comes your way.
